Synthesis service making use of client’s amidite
This service pertains to synthesis of oligonucleotides containing the new amidite prepaired by the client.
This service is provided while keeping consultation with the client about processes, etc.
As a rule, test synthesis is first conducted at a small scale (0.2 μmol) to determine optimum synthesis conditions,
and synthesis at the client-requested scale is performed thereafter.
Analyses for determination of optimum synthesis conditions
(1) Amidite synthesis efficiency (monomer)
(2) Efficiency of synthesis assessed by RP-HPLC with DMTr functional group
(3) Purity assessed by RP-HPLC
(4) Checking the molecular weight by MALDI-TOF/MS after cartridge purification (if the client discloses MW)
If synthesis is judged to be difficult during determination of optimum conditions,
subsequent steps will be decided through discussion with the client
(additional exploration of optimum conditions may also be conducted if deemed rational).
Even when synthesis is discontinued, a certain charge is billed to the client.
